Mekaniker Jacket

The “PL Mekaniker Jacket” emerges through the collaboration between Grocery and Otto Resource’s Purple Label program, a refined reinterpretation of our mechanic-inspired silhouette. It is crafted in Italy from 100% cotton with a PU-coated finish developed by Limonta. The coating lends the fabric a waxy touch and a subtle sheen, giving the familiar form a contemporary feel.

The same structure, with its full-zip collar, defined body and utilitarian presence, remains in place, but is rendered with precision and elevated materials. Inside, it is lined in cotton twill. while the exterior sits in a calm grey tone that brings a quiet balance to its technical finish. Tonal side-tape detailing, Riri metal zippers and Cobrax buttons complete the piece, creating a union of design research, archive awareness and practical wearability. In short, familiar form, fresh context and the signature Grocery wit at its core.
