Staff Overshirt

The “Function Complex II Staff Overshirt” was developed for Function Complex II — a research project by Grocery and Otto Resource exploring six uniforms made in different fabrics from Limonta. The study examined how material properties affect both the functionality and expression of a uniform.

This shirt formed part of that exploration, testing a technical fabric within the framework of a staff garment. Designed with oversized chest pockets, a reduced Cuban collar, and Cobrax snap buttons, it merges practical design with a clear material narrative. The project later informed additional pieces such as the Transport Trouser, continuing the research into everyday wear.
